About Us

Allow me to introduce myself to you.

I'm married and a Mother of two.  I have and Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering.   We have 2 cats and run a rental home. You would think I would have my hands full with all that and not have time to make crafts.  I had worked outside the home in the electronics field until a few years ago when the company I worked for went bankrupt.  I have been a stay at home Mother since as our youngest was entering into pre-k and we couldn't find a sitter to take and pick up the child from pre-k for us.

I began years ago making paraffin candles with my Father as a hobby.  We never sold any of them but had fun making them together and just spending that time together.  Growing up there were times that my Father held down 2 or 3 jobs just to support a family of 5, so I treasure the moments we had like that.

As I grew up I developed a passion for making silk floral arrangements.  I have made many over the years and given them away to family, friends and neighbors to enjoy.  I made many cemetary arrangements for the gravesites of my loved ones, including my Father.

A while ago my Mother in law took up making soy candles and I had a flood of memories when she told me what she was venturing into.  I had wanted to create an online business for about a year before this but never accomplished the task as I couldn't figure out what products I wanted to start with.

My husband suggested I start the business putting my talents to work for me.  I thought he was nuts.  The more we talked about it the more I liked the idea of getting back into making paraffin candles again and making the silk floral arrangements for others again.

My husband and I did a bunch of research on paraffin candles.  While doing the research, we found sites for gel candles.  I read all I could about gel candles and learned what to do and what not to do when making them.  I went to a wholesale place up North with my Mother in law one day so she could get some soy wax and fragrances.  While there I learned from the owner of the wholesale place about scented wax bears.

I talked with my husband and we decided to start an online business so I could continue staying at home with the kids.  We started our 1st website www.North-American-Lubricants.com and recently started www.Synthetic-Motor-Oil.us as Independent Dealers for Amsoil Synthetic Motor Oil.  At the same time we got our retail merchants certificate and federal id number and set out to start up Americas-eShoppe.

I haven't got the site built for it just yet.  The online store had been set aside because I couldn't figure out what products I wanted to start out with.  Originally we were going to dropship products of different kinds and then after finding out about the gel candles, smelly jelly, aroma air freshener, glycerin soaps, soy candles and scented wax bears, I decided to make Americas-eShoppe an online crafts store and sell my creations to the public sector to purchase and enjoy.

I was talking to a friend of mine about another craft project that I found and was talking to her about the products I already make, when she told me about 1colonly.com and suggested I start out building a website through them.  Well, here I am and here are some of the products that I make.

I hope my customers enjoy the crafts I make as much as I enjoy making them up for them.
